With every album Blur proved open to influences and embracing change. By their fifth album, blur have touched on lo-fi, by the next they touched on electronica. This theme has been typical of Blur lead singer Damon Albarn's later solo career, always touching on new genres, further diminishing the chances of Blur ever getting back together for the sake of those days past.
