About Bill Haley
Bill Haley was blind in one eye from birth, and, as a consequence, suffered from terrible shyness as a boy. However, it seems that he managed to overcome this in later years. He developed a taste for country music and already at age 14, Bill Haley had already left school in hopes of building a career.
