From their first single released in 1964, Baby Let Me Take You Home, through the following House Of The Rising Sun, and the funky Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood and We've Gotta Get Out Of This Place – The Animals are promised an honorary seat in rock and roll pantheon. Unfortunately, the band did not keep its original lineup for long, as inner tensions and arguments over materiel matters led to the departure of keyboard player Alan Price. Later formations of The Animals were never as successful.
