Acheron is a death metal band that was notorious in 1990's due to the satanic views of its leader Vincent Crowley. Acheron's founder Crowley was joined by Peter Crowley in 1988 and they released a number of successful demos. In 1991 they released their debut full-length album "Rites of the Black Mass".
