Producer Jacques Morali started the disco band Village People in the middle 70's. H recruited Peter Whitehead and Phil Hurtt to record the band's debut single entitled "San Francisco (You Got Me)," which was issued in 1997. The project is also know for releasing such hits as "Y.M.C.A.," "In the Navy," "Go West," "Can't Stop the Music," and may others.
