Thalia (full name: Ariadna Thalia Sodi) was born in Mexico City in 1971. She issued her first full-length eponymous album in 1990. In the early 90's she began to star in the "Maria" series. In 1995 the EMI label released Thalia's second album entitled En Extasis. The Amor a la Mexicana LP followed in 1997, and in 2000 she issued the full-length Arrasando.
