The goth metal group called Tristania was founded in the middle 90's in Norway by suh musicians as Morten Veland (vocals and guitar), Osten Bergoy (vocals), Vibeke Stene (vocals). They recrruited Anders H. Hidle (guitar), Rune Osterhus (bass), Einar Moen (keyboards), and Kenneth Olsson (drums) to record the band's debut self-titled EP, which was issued in 1997.
