Such musicians as singer/guitarist Tim Narducci and guitarist Adam Ruppel formed Systematic in 1996. Later two more musicians joined the band, namely Nick St. Denis on bass (ex-guitarist of Pro-Pain) and drummer Shaun Bannon. Soon the band caught the attention of Ulrich, and the band was suggested to sign a contract with Systematic.
