The project called Snap! was founded at the end of the 80's in Pittsburgh by rapper Turbo B and his cousin Jackie Harris. The duo became popular after releasing its debut hit single entitled "The Power." In the early 90's Harris left the band and was replaced by ex-Gap Band singer Penny Ford. In 1992 Nikki Harris replaced Turbo B.
