Travis Cardinal (guitar), Chris Bender (drums), and Eric Kuthe (bass) founded the group Sea of Green in Canada in the late 90's. The Music Cartel label produced their debut EP entitled Northern Lights in 2000. The same year the band released its first full-length album, Time to Fly, on the Chalet label.
