Fugazi is a hardcore band from Washington, DC. They were formed inn 1987, the same year another son of Washington, Henry Rollins, joined the Rollins Band. Fugazi have been perhaps as influential as the west coast band, not only musically but also in their handling business and commercial matters, touring extensively and refusing to sell out to mainstream outlets.
