Archetype, the group from Brecksville was formed in 1997 by singer Greg Wagner, guitarist Chris Matyus, bassist Jamie Still, and drummer Keith Zeigler. Using both progressive and power metal strains, bolstered by Wagner's powerful, expressive voice, the band debuted with 1999's Hands of Time EP. Than followed it with 2002's full-length Dawning.
