HED p.e. was founded in Huntington Beach, California in 1994. It's founder was Jahred also known as M.C.U.D. or Jerred Shaine, whose aim was to create a region's long-term project, which would combine initial punk-rock with G-funk-inflected hip-hop (a style he later called "G-pank").
