Bell has recently aired several commercials, touting their HSPA service and claiming that their network is more reliable than Rogers’ own service. Rogers has asked the courts to block Bell from airing what they consider to be utter nonsense. Let us not forget that previously, another Canadian carrier called Telus, took legal action against Rogers for a similar commercial. The Pre, Palm’s answer to the iPhone and its only legitimate chance of staving off bankruptcy, will be distributed via Bell, Canada’s original communications provider and a former crown corporation.
