So we all know how much the Japanese adore their cellphones, but who would have thought the adoration would take such proportions? Both "Hime-Den" and "Deco-Dens" are trend setters in Japan, where the word "Hime" means "Princess" and "Den" for "Denwa" - phone in Japanese. This trend sees girls who wouldn't stop to think twice about dropping hundreds of dollars monthly just to make their handset stand out from the ordinary, plain models. Won't all the accessories and trinkets glued to the handset fall off after a while, or even cause it to be more bulky than usual? I guess fashion never really bordered on the practical in the first place anyways. Of course every ‘Hime-Den’ girl needs her bling, bling tastic Deco-Den—literally phone that’s encrusted in Swarovski, rhinestones, glitter, seals and paint. Yes that sounds strange we know, but come on think of what you do for your beloved cellphone.
