Virgin UK has announced that it will be offering the new HTC Wildfire in the fall of 2010. The HTC Wildfire is powered by Android 2.1 and will incorporate a QVGA touchscreen display, which is a rarity amongst Android devices. The Wildfire comes with GPS, HSDPA, a 5MP camera and many more features that have made HTC the best Smartphone manufacturer in the world, arguably. Virgin UK has yet to officially disclose the price of the Wildfire, but the blogosphere has it priced at 250 Euros. The price is affordable overall, but may be considered expensive by some when compared to other mobile devices with similar features. It is unclear regarding the availability the device via other carriers in the UK, but there are enough devices with similar design and specifications to ensure that consumers do not have to jump ship in order to get their hands on this baby or comparable device. No exact release date has been given by Virgin at this time.
