The rumors regarding the Verizon version of the Nexus One have started to pick up steam throughout the blogosphere. Some believe that March 23 is the magical date, but that is of course unconfirmed at this time. A prominent communist publication, the Economic Daily Times out of China, reported: “HTC (High Tech Computer) has started shipping CDMA-version of the Nexus One Google phones to Verizon Wireless”. While this does not confirm the launch date, it does indicate that the launch cannot be too far in the future. The publication also reported that Google will begin to market the phone in March or April. This far, Nexus One phones have not sold at the rate Google and the market expected. However, Android powered phones in general have outpaced expectations with over 60,000 units sold daily throughout the world. Increased exposure and availability for the Nexus One on Verizon can only serve to increase this figure.
