Carriers in the UK are mustering their forces for the impending war over the rights to carry the iPad. While AT&T has exclusivity regarding 3G services for the iPad in the United States, there is some thought that Apple will provide the iPad via all major carriers in the UK. This is all speculation however and as Apple executive travel to the UK; British carriers will literally do everything in their power to convince Apple that they are the right choice for any sort of exclusivity agreement. We care certain that the executives from Cupertino will be treated like kings, enjoying the best dining and sexual services that London has to offer. (Both of which I am told are pretty subpar in that part of the world.) At the end, I believe Apple will select a single carrier for a short exclusive agreement and then begin to distribute the iPad via all carriers.
