We are only minutes away from the grand unveiling of the Apple Tablet. Legions of fans and tech geeks from around the world are as giddy as teenagers witnessing pornography for the first time. The rumored $1000 price tag has not deterred the enthusiasm and curiosity that has rippled through many a social community for the past several months. When Steve Jobs and company reveal their latest creation, many of Apple’s disciples will surely begin to salivate at the prospect of taking another step to creating a true iLiving. But there is one very fat problem. The expectations are so damn high, that only a very majestic presentation of an equally majestic product will meet expectations. Can Apple do it? They possess a good track record, but I am afraid that they may have set the benchmark a little too high. Much like Barak Obama, Apple may end disappointing the masses.
