Apple, with their over inflated ego, always enjoy announcing every single milestone they reach. This time around, Apple bigwig Steve Jobs noted with much arrogance, that Apple has surpassed the three billion download mark for their very successful App Store. The blatant arrogance was not so much with that remark, but with the following one. Jobs went on to say that the success of the App Store has been so overwhelming, that he doesn’t foresee the competition catching up anytime soon. Now, we know and Jobs knows that this sad display of bravado is rather pathetic. While nobody can question the accomplishments of the App Store, to claim that it can never be dethroned is simply outrageous. We all know that the Android will outsell the iPhone in total units by the end of 2010. There is no way for this scenario not to materialize, as the massive amount of Android handsets scheduled to be released this year is mind boggling. Jobs can thump his chest in public all he wants, but we all know that in private he is defecating in his pants.
