Verizon, one of the more heartless and domineering carriers in North America, has doubled its early termination fees in an effort to further exploit its unfortunate consumers. Four U.S. Senators have requested the FCC to investigate this serious and scrupulous policy. FCC, being one of the more corrupt and diabolic government institutions, was apparently satisfied with Verizon’s defense in which it stated that the increase in termination fees was to the benefit of the customer, as it allows the wireless provider to offer more advanced handsets. It came as no surprise that the FCC did not question Verizon further, as the two corporate entities (Yes the FCC is a corporation.) often lie next to each other in bed. As usual, it is the consumer who suffers from the lack of ethics and morality in the corporate world. But hey, American wanted a free market society. Now let them sleep in the stinky bed they made.
