UPS is set to release a new BlackBerry app that will make it easier for mobile users to connect, ship and stay informed. The new UPS Mobile app allows BlackBerry users to scan for the nearest UPS locations, in addition to a whole host of features, such as tracking shipment, creating a new shipment, printing labels, shipping rate calculation and on and on. Basically, everything an individual could ever want from an app such as this one. The app also tracks shipping in real time, which is both good and bad. Good, because this helps a customer know exactly where the package is at all times and bad, because there is nothing worse than seeing a package stuck in customs for three straight days every time you check the shipping status. The UPS BlackBerry app is compatible with the BlackBerry Storm, BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Tour and the BlackBerry Bold. Happy shipping!
