A rumor from an unconfirmed source has reported that U.S. Cellular has jumped on the BlackBerry Curve 8530 bandwagon. Joining the ranks of Verizon and Sprint, who plan on releasing the Curve 8530 in the near future, U.S. Cellular is sure to benefit from adding one of the best budget smartphones currently available on the market. The BlackBerry Curve is considered to be one of the best poor man’s smartphones on the market, sporting GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G. Perhaps the only major qualm about the Curve 8530 is the lack of a decent camera and the absence of flash. U.S. Cellular missed the boat slightly, with Verizon and Sprint releasing the Curve ahead of the smaller carrier, but later is usually better than never. Of course, I have treated the Curve on U.S. Cellular as fact, when it could very well be fiction. Patience children, we will know more in the coming days.
