Best Buy is gearing up for the holiday season by playing the role of mobile phone Santa Claus. Best Buy will be offering two decent Android phones, the HTC Hero and the Samsung Moment. Both Sprint phones will be available for $99 with a two year slave agreement. Shawn Score, President of Best Buy Mobile, was quick to flaunt this new offering. ‘This fall has brought an unprecedented amount of highly-anticipated mobile devices to the market. We are excited to offer customers great selection, value and support to help them make sense of it all.' While the last part of this statement obviously proves that Score has never shopped in the company he works for, it does mean that Best Buy will continue to offer a wide range of mobile phones at halfway decent prices over the coming months. The electronics retailer has promised to offer several more smartphones during the holiday season.
