Our modern era dictates that we are always under some form of surveillance. Whether government or private, our name goes through a computer dozens of times a day and big brother like cameras are stalking us at every turn. Sometimes flying under the radar can be not only useful, but necessary. Enter a BlackBerry app called Spoof. Spoof allows you to disguise yourself in various ways to keep your identity a secret. Anything from disguising your voice when making a call, blocking caller ID, or even recording a phone call are all possible with this crafty, but legally questionable app. The Spoof app is free to download from BlackBerry World, but using the functions requires that you purchase a calling card from the company’s website. Spoof apparently did not pass the rigorous review by Apple, but BlackBerry World had no qualms about an application of this type. Excuse me while I go download Spoof. There are several ex-girlfriends I have to call.
