It appears that the same pansies that buy the iPhone (And I’m seriously considering becoming one.) are also big fans of the Flickr photo uploading and sharing program. An article at www.everyjoe.com reveals that the most uploaded photos on Flickr come from an iPhone camera, with the Nokia N95 a very distant second. The reasoning behind this is the iPhone apps that batch and upload iPhone photos to Flickr. The author of the article also assumes that the iPhone is the most accessible Smartphone with a camera. Not something I agree with, but there is some validity to this argument. I for one believe that the reason iPhone is the most popular phone amongst Flickr users is because they have overlapping demographics. Young teenagers and professionals in their late twenties are both partial to the iPhone and Flickr. Honestly, how many 50 year old CEOs are uploading photos online with their BlackBerry phones? I’m sure we can all agree that there aren’t too many.
