A growing pandemic is sweeping Europe, threatening to unbalance the fragile social structure and plunge the continent into a second medieval age. Perhaps I am exaggerating, but the recent cases of exploding iPhones are sure to cause more than just a few raised eyebrows. Several reports have claimed that iPhones in France and England have overheated and exploded. While there was no report of serious injury, the possibility of such tragedy is possible unless Apple and the European Commission solve this problem with all due haste. I hesitate to compare these events to the unfortunate death of the iPhone user in China. (The iPhone in his breast pocket exploded.) The victim in China could have been using a knockoff, while the iPhones in Europe were probably legit. Regardless, this problem needs to be solved as soon as possible, with Apple actually doing something to provide a proper solution, instead of twiddling their thumbs as usual.
