Apple has released its quarterly earning results and according to the royal family in Cupertino, we peasants should all be kissing the ass of Jobs and Captain Cook. Apple has made 10 zillion dollars and has sold over two jillion iPhones. (Yes, Apple is the best.) That’s great, but as usual, Apple has proven to be a master illusionist and weaver of fiction. Both iPhone and iPod sales are down in North America and Apple is ranked second after RIM as far as number of units sold is concerned. While Mac sales have increased by four percent, they are still eons away from coming anywhere close to the percentage of Windows running clone PCs have of the market. Apple is still one of the most prosperous countries in the world right now, especially considering the economic climate. Regardless, not everything is as rosy as the Whites Knights of Cupertino claim it to be.
