With the upgrade to the 3.0 OS, AT&T has now deemed the iPhone worthy of its app, the AT&T Navigator. The AT&T Navigator, which will run for $9.99, comes with automatic content updates, speech recognition, 3D Maps, online trip planning and more. The AT&T Navigator, which recently won some insignificant award for best navigation app, is considered to be one of the premier applications of its kind. iPhone users without the 3.0 operating system cannot enjoy the Navigator. I must confess that I have never used GPS on a phone, but I have always pondered about the size of the screen. Even the iPhone’s rather large screen is small when compared to most GPS devices. It is a little to narrow as well, with many GPS devices using a square instead of rectangular screen. On the other hand, I would much rather spend $9.99 than $300 if the former can get the job done just as well as the later.
