The Emporio Armani Samsung Mobile was unveiled, which I can honestly say caused me to vomit violently into the bucket located conveniently next to my desk. This new phone dubbed ‘Night Effect’ targets the lovers of music. Armani claims that it will meet the needs of young consumers who like to party after hours. Sounds like a load of camel dung to this writer. For one thing, there are plenty of phones that are already geared towards music and in fact, we now expect new phones that hit the market to be proficient in music. What about this idiotic claim that the phone suits those who like to party it up late into the night? Does the phone help you get into specific clubs, or meet gorgeous babes who are prone to arousal because of this super sexy and good looking phone? The Emporio Armani doesn’t even look particularly pleasing to the eye and actually has a rather plain and uninteresting design. This is obviously a marketing tactic by Samsung to cover up the fact that their phones tend to be quite crappy, which entails that they hope the consumer can be suckered into purchasing their product simply based on Armani’s brand power. If you think it’s a good phone, then by all means buy it – otherwise, leave Giorgio to his suits and Samsung to what they do best – whatever that is.
