Well it’s about freaking time. After having to endure the useless and over hyped games that have slithered and crawled their way on to mobile handsets and app stores everywhere, we can now all rest easy. Nokia and Capcom are teaming up to release a mobile version of one of the best video games ever made – Resident Evil. The game will be called Resident Evil Degeneration and will feature cutting edge graphics that are designed to take advantage of the N-Gage’s awesome hardware capabilities. Unlike Monkeyball, that Tetris clone Apple removed from their Apple store and the latest reincarnation of Joe Blow soccer – Resident Evil Degeneration actually has the potential of being entertaining and enthralling. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this is just the beginning and that other popular titles will make their way into the mobile realm. We should just ensure that angry or frustrated gamers won’t treat their cell phones like they treat their game pads when things don’t work out..
