There hasn’t been this much cause for celebration in England since the infamous World Cup victory 500 years ago. (Did that even really happen?) The uproar of pleasure in the UK is the announcement by Nokia that the rainy isle will be the first market to experience Nokia’s new ‘Comes with Music’ service. The phone designated for the inaugural launch is the blessed 5310 XpressMusic phone. The 5310 will be available at Carphone Warehouse and various other British retailers. The ‘Comes with Music’ allows purchasers of the 5310 to receive free access for a year to Nokia’s music store that will include content from Sony BMG, Universal and Warner Music. It does make sense for Nokia to test run this new service (it should be available before Christmas) in the rather unforgiving and finicky UK market. Unlike their American counterparts, who will rush foolhardily into any new fad that comes their way, (ever heard of the iPhone?) the Brits tend to be a little more cautious with what comes out of their wallets.
