A company called Prizemo has quite ingeniously created a new games show for cell phones called ‘Show You the Money’. The goal is of course, to win some major mullah by sending the correct answer to trivia questions via text messaging. Each text will run about 99 cents a piece and winners will be drawn weekly from the pool of contestants who answered correctly. Prizemo is also in negotiations with some major cable channels around the world in the hopes of creating a television version of ‘Show You the Money’, where celebrity hosts will be quizzing contestants about sports, fashion, movies and other mainstream and shallow topics. All in all, Prizemo should be given a pat on the back for a rather groundbreaking idea that could certainly change the mobile industry and make their pockets heavy with green. Addiction is perhaps the only concern, but the responsibility as always, is on the gambler.
