It is now certain that we have entered a climate of redundancy with a new abomination from OpenPeak called the iPhone Home. Basically, the iPhone Home is the home version of the iPhone with a few additional features and multiple handsets. OpenPeak may very well be walking on an over crowded path with very little room to maneuver. How many iPhone related gizmos do we really need? Does anybody who already has an iPhone really need a home version and would they be willing to fork over $300 USD for a home phone with some web browsing? It doesn’t make any sense to bring home a stationary iPhone, when you already have a home computer that can pretty much do everything the iPhone can and 100 times better at that. Companies like OpenPeak need to start thinking a little more creatively, instead of just trying to catch some of the scraps left over from Apple and a few others.
