Canada’s long and romantic infatuation with evil communistic socialism has taken a turn for the worse. (Or best if you support barbaric capitalistic values) Two leading carriers from the world’s coldest country, Telus and Bell Mobility, have dropped a kamikaze announcement that subscribers will now have to pay 15 cents for incoming text messaging. Bell Mobility, once Canada’s only Telecom Company and now its worst, has announced that they are implementing this oppressive behavior starting this Friday. Telus, Canada’s leading cell phone provider in the western party of the country, (as if that should count for anything) will allow consumers a short grace period before implementing their tariff of 15 cents as well. Furious mobs of consumers have already threatened to take legal action against this imperial approach, promising a law suit in a land that has never given more than an old used shoe in punitive damages.
