Russian mobile content developer HeroCraft has created a rather interesting piece of software designed to increase the geographical knowledge of cell phone users. The game, called Travel Genius, helps users discover capitols, oceans, cities, forests and just about every other geographical trait out there. For all its depth, Travel Genius targets beginners and the content will probably not challenge the geographically able. Travel Genius is played in quiz format and comes in two main playing styles – Simple and timed. It is quite robust with over 700 locations sprawled over six maps. (Sorry Antarctica) There is also an arcade addition to Travel Genius, but HeroCraft has not disclosed too much information about the add on. Travel Guide, scheduled for release on the 25th of August, will be compatible with Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 2003 SE, Windows Mobile 5.x, Windows Mobile 6, (Classic / Professional / Standard) Symbian 7 / 8 / 9.x OS, (S60) Symbian 7 / 9.x OS (UIQ) and Palm 5.x.
