Yesterday, AT&T launched its international GPS service, AT&T Navigator Global Edition – the first of its kind in North America. The service will be available in over 20 countries across North America, Europe and the Caribbean. AT&T has even made the service available in six Chinese cities, effectively catering to customers involved in the upcoming Olympics. The domestic AT&T Navigator solution works hand in hand with AT&T Navigator Global Edition on the following AT&T phones: AT&T Tilt, BlackBerry® 8800, BlackBerry 8820, BlackBerry Curve 8310, BlackBerry Pearl 8110, BlackJack II and MOTO Q 9h global smartphones. Customers can elect to use the service in text or spoken versions using English, Italian, Spanish, or German. The AT&T Navigator Global Edition retails for $19.98 a month and is bundled with the domestic AT&T Navigator solution. AT&T will be offering a variety of Olympic themed extras to celebrate the launch of the Navigator Global Edition.
