The device is not much special than others but allows users to watch live coverage of the 2008 Olympic Games to be held in Beijing China this coming August 8 - 24. In addition, users will have access to Canada’s medal standings during the said sports event. The special edition phone will have the Canadian Olympic Team logo on its external case as well as with an Olympic wallpaper. The phone features a 2.1 internal TFT display with 262K colors and 240 x 320 pixels, a 1.2 external CSTN display with 65K colors, GPS with turn-by-turn directions, Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger, Full Track Music downloads, external music-dedicated keys, SIRIUS Satellite radio, voice dialing, MMS, a 1.3 Megapixel camera with video, Bluetooth 1.1 with A2DP, speakerphone, 50MB of internal memory and microSD card support for up to 4GB. The second largest Canadian mobile operator will give users a 3-year contract agreement and will sell the Samsung m530 Canadian Olympic Team Edition for only $49.95.
