China already known as the world’s most populated country, it’s a nation of 1.3 billion people. Nearly half, 592 million, use mobile phones & that’s according to the Ministry of Information Industry figures. As mobile subscriptions have risen, land-line use has dropped. Mobile subscriptions in China are up in 9% over last year’s numbers. The main reason behind this amazing growth is a trend for mobile operators to cut fees in order to gain market share & they made it. Land-line providers lost almost 6.5% of their subscribers in the first five months of this year, falling to 358 million customers. In order helping bolstering declining land-line companies, China announced that it will restructure the telecommunications industry, yea, sounds familiar. Restructure is the Chinese way.
