The deep metal Canadian band Slaughter appeared in 1984 in Scarborough, Ontario. Singer/guitarist Dave Hewson, singer/bassist Terry Sadler, and drummer Ron Sumners formed the group. In 1986 they released their first full-length album called Strappado. In 1990 the group split after releasing a couple of albums.
