Vio-Lence is known to be formed by guitarist Robb Flynn. The band also included such musicians as vocalist Sean Killian, guitarist Phil Demmel, bassist Dean Dell, and drummer Perry Strickland. The band debuted in 1988 with Eternal Nightmare. The album was successful enough, and received much praised. Oppressing the Masses was the second one (1990).
