Vocalist Michael Gira founded the Swans group. In 1982, the band released its first eponymous EP. The full-length album entitled Holy Money followed four years later. Besides, in the 80's the band issued such LPs as Children of God and Feel Good Now. In the early 90's Swans signed with the MCA label and released White Light From the Mouth and The Great Annihilator.
