The history of 2 Unlimited began when Marvin D. introduced Wilde and DeCoster to rapper Ray Slijngaard (born in June 28, 1971, Amsterdam) and vocalist Anita Doth (born in December 28, 1971, Amsterdam); both Anita and Ray had participated in Marvin's rap group in the past. Then in 1991 2 Unlimited offered their debut single to European audience, namely it was "Get Ready for This", which climbed to number two on some Old World's charts. The single was followed by release of Get Ready next year.
