About Underworld
An early attempt to record New Wave music in the early 80s, then independent projects of both musicians, preceded the 1988 founding of Underworld. The duo was, at first, an industrial-funk band. When they became a trio, with the addition of a young DJ, Underworld changed their style with a new emphasis on techno, to carry them to great success with albums Dubnobasswithmyheadman and many live concerts.
