Steppenwolf are a Canadian rock band, which was named after a German novel (by Hermann Hesse), but has often been very involved and critical of US policies and society. Such was Steppenwolf 7, the band's 1970 album, which presented the Steppenwolf opinion of the Vietnam War and Nixon administration around that time.
