About Stan Getz
American jazz musician Stan Gets started as a member of groups, among them Jack Teagarden's band, but quickly became an important leader of jazz music and groups himself. His choice was not the traditional one, remaining mostly acoustic and incorporating Brazilian styles, while staying away from jazz fusion and electric jazz, keeping largely to the Stan Gets Sound.
