About Soraya
In 2000 Soraya released the full-length entitled Cuerpo y Alma, which was as successful as her previous records and earned her the music contract with the EMI label. in 2003 she issued her first eponymous album for new label, the same year Soraya got a Latin Grammy. El Otro Lado de Mi followed in 2005. The next year Soraya died of cancer when she was only 37.
