About Slipknot
Formed in Iowa in 1995, heavy metal band Slipknot currently counts nine members. In earlier recordings Slipknot were mostly a grindcore style singing band, but have turned to more melodic and rapping style singing. Still Slipknot sings aggressive lyrics that are a remainder of their earlier nihilistic style, when they won such descriptions as sounding like a threshing machine devouring a military drum corps.
