About Sleater-Kinney
The founders of Sleater-Kinney met on the riot grrrl scene of Olympia in the early 90s. At first the band was a side project, but slowly it emerged as a solid act, releasing seven albums over the years. Successful on the independent music charts, Sleater-Kinney has broken into the Top 10 with both One Beat and The Woods in 2002 and 2005 respectively.
