Scottish rockers Simple Minds are from Glasgow, but their accent could have been heard around the world for a period in the mid 80s, mainly due to their hit single Don't You (Forget About Me), as well as Simple Minds' other critically acclaimed albums of the time, before turning to more politically loaded rock albums.
